This Scottsdale resort's 32,000-square-foot health-and-beauty spa contains a 75-foot, three-lane outdoor lap pool and 14-person spa tub bordered by cactus-garden sunning terraces furnished with cushioned rattan lounge chairs. Private poolside cabanas containing compact refrigerators, ceiling fans, fruit, bottled water, cushioned seating, and scented towels can be rented by the day.
The spa includes an expansive fitness center containing cardio machines with televisions, weight machines, and free weights, and offers a mountain-bike simulator. A large exercise studio offers scheduled classes such as BOSU balance training, tai chi, aerobics, yoga, and Pilates. Individual evaluations, based on Dr. Kenneth Cooper's Personalized Aerobic Lifestyle System (PALS), are offered, as are computerized body-composition analyses, personal training, and nutrition counseling.
The spa's women's and men's sides include steam rooms, saunas, and nude-sunbathing terraces, with a 14-person spa tub on the women's side and a seven-person spa tub and cool plunge pool on the men's. A women's relaxation lounge includes a gas fireplace, and a men's lounge includes a flat-screen plasma television.
The spa offers Southwestern-accented treatments, including an Adobe Clay Purification Treatment based on a Native American healing ritual. Massage, body wraps and scrubs, and facials are available, along with Vichy showers and, for men, Swiss showers. The spa also offers hair and nail care.
Resort guests (minimum age 16) booking spa treatments enjoy access to all spa facilities and services, including the lap pool and exercise classes. Guests can also enjoy full spa access for a daily surcharge. Surcharges are not levied for access to the spa's breakfast/lunch restaurant, which includes a pool-view juice bar and serves healthful cuisine as well desserts and tropical cocktails.
In addition to the health spa's fitness/workout center, guests also have access to a complimentary fitness center containing cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. Computers in the lobby and in a coffee shop provide complimentary Internet connections, and complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. The resort offers 27 meeting and conference rooms and 40,000 square feet of flexible and functional meeting space.
During Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter holidays, the resort offers complimentary, supervised children's activities. In summer, adults socialize at dining/bar tables while children enjoy movies shown near the pool.
Used primarily for conferences, an expansive Western village in Mummy Mountain's foothills provides photo and picnic opportunities for guests.

Camelback Inn offers 453 spacious guestrooms in one- and two-story, cream-colored casitas with log-and-lodge pole trim bordered by cactus gardens. Southwestern pottery and art grace rooms, which feature balconies or patios accessed through French doors and furnished with two-chair dining sets and lounge chairs. Wet bars include compact refrigerators and microwave ovens, and rooms also have minibars.
Beds feature pillowtop mattresses, 300-thread-count sheets, down blankets, lightweight down comforters with off-white covers and jewel-tone trim, chenille throws, and five pillows per bed.
For surcharges, Internet access is available through high-speed connections and televisions with wireless keyboards. Televisions also offer video games (surcharge). Each room includes two speakerphones, one cordless.
Decor includes cream-colored stucco walls, log ceilings, and rustic-finish furniture, including desks. Dressing benches, suit valets, and cushioned reading chairs/ottomans provide convenience and comfort.
